Janelle Pitts is a Video Editor and Photographer based in Washington, DC.

Growing up in New Jersey, Janelle Pitts always had a knack for creating art through visual media, with one of her earliest passions being photography. In 2014, she made the move to New York City, seeking a career in television production.

She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Culture, and Communication a minor in Producing. Janelle later went on to further her education through the Digital Editing Program at New York Film Academy. Over the course of this program, she was able to obtain Avid Media Composer Certification.

Janelle has worked on multiple television programs including Live with Kelly and Ryan, Say Yes to the Dress, and Say Yes to the Dress: America. She currently works as a full-time Senior Assistant Video Editor at Freethink.

In her spare time, Janelle enjoys watching soccer and is an avid Liverpool FC fan (but she is still willing to have civilized conversations with fans of other clubs). She also takes joy in traveling as much as possible, with her favorite city to visit being London.
